Finnish Oats / visual brand identity

What’s so special about Finnish oats? The challenge of the creative concept was to combine all industrial aspects: agriculture, business, product development, consumer health benefits and deliciousness of oats in a meaningful visual manner. The other challenge was communicating the key sales arguments in the most condensed form from the field to the table for Finnish and international food industry professionals on one website and one double sided A4 paper. The arctic ice and fabulous luminosity of the Finnish growing environment were chosen to be the key elements of the visual identity. Logotype is fabulous, romantic, plant resembling, visually rich and delicious. The shapes express beautifully the arctic growing environment and long summer days of Finland which give Finnish oats their exceptionally high quality. Finally, the concept of light and ice follows through the studio photographs in the form of light rays and in sunny beige and blue background colours together and one field photo taken in early sunrise just before harvesting.
