Finnish food safety event, Shanghai World Expo / visual brand identity

The concept and brand was created for a VIP event held in Finnish National Pavilion in Shanghai World expo 2010 by food safety industry companies and organisations. The concept was inspired by the visit of a Chinese delegation to Finland and tailored for the interests and needs of this target market. The “On Trace of Good Food” -concept presents the entire production chain of pork meat from farm to the table supported by the latest Finnish food safety technology and innovations. The happy pig character and a pink brand colour are surprising in this industrial context and they create a memorable and consistent pop-up event branding in an environment that was visually and technically restricted.
