Helsinki Business and Science Park / visual brand identity renewal

Helsinki Business and Science Park was a development company for commercialising research and developing business in Helsinki region. It was owned by the City of Helsinki, University of Helsinki, Sitra, Ministry of Education and industry associations. We started working together by creating a new brand for a subsidiary called Helsinki Reach Centre. Thereafter we continued with the renewing and unifying of the parent company Helsinki Business and Science Park and an another subsidiary: Viikki For Centre. All three visual brands were designed to be recognisably from the same brand family, but differentiated by three colour schemes: green for HBSP, blue for HRC and finally orange for VFC. Another unifying element is the networking photograph with many collaborating hands encouraging, pulling, pushing and helping clients to become the scientific success stories of the future in the areas of science, chemicals industry and food technology. Although this pioneering pathfinder trio is today vanished – the heritage and know-how lives on in new projects in the scientific spirit.
